The ride went smooth, with winds catching them from behind and helping push them along, the clouds rolling by them slowly and softly. Birds and beasts flew by, some waved, some sqwaked, most ignored them and figured them to be ball waggers showing off their cool new ship. Losers. Why couldn't they just get a cool set of wings to fly on themselves? Just go evolve or something, it wasn't that hard for them, stop being a sky hog already.
For the most part, the newly rechristened crew of The Maidenhead got along. A few nasty glances were exchanged between the Captain of the Grail and Saja, who had been the one threatening her worthless husband, but Gabby insisted on playing mediator and substitute captain again, walking up and nudging them away with her sailor's hat, as if that granted her supreme authority over anything she touched. It's hard to argue with a cat over anything, especially since they don't speak the same language you do, but with how stubborn and haughty she was about it, they figured it best to let her play lest they find hairballs and who else knew what on their respective beds later.
The fiery knight got to know the ladies of the Grail quite intimately, showing each one a good time, or taking a few at a time and showing them an even better time. A barrel of ale was rolled down for them and left right by their door and soon found itself emptied by thirsty, ravenous maidens looking to regain all they had lost working with Siofra. The knight herself happily passed out between a few of them, head on their chests, snoring tipsy and content.
The night passed with a few of them taking turns at the wheel so the pilots could get some sleep in, too, happy that the rooms were soundproofed just in case Siofra got up again and started getting it up. Millia and Kiri took out a fresh scroll and began to map the stars above them, seeing if they could spot any constellations hiding within the clear, shining mass of twinkling stars they saw before them. Kiri just sweat a bit as they did, nervous and wringing her tail, asking Millia now and again what kind of things she think would impress Siofra. The squire just sighed and shrugged saying it ought to be obvious and any wooing would be entirely unneeded to get in her pants, but whatever. She was more distracted by how ridiculously full the moon was getting. One more night and it'd be that time again. Hopefully they'd be landed sometime before lunch so they could get Siofra properly leashed. Oh, the horror of unleashing that on a new town was too much to bear in the poor squire's mind, knowing full well what's happened the few times she's seen it already. She'd check her bag after they woke up later, seeing as it was stuck in Siofra's room right now and she knew walking into it, even if she was passed out, would be a panty laden disaster to sort through. They all soon found their way in and went to sleep, the events of the day tiring everyone out, save the captain, who was busy enjoying the Tanjil group's taste in alcohol before passing out wasted in a pile of her crew members.
Dawn came all too early for them, the fighters feeling sore and stiff, the lovers feeling drunk and chafed. Siofra came out yawning wide, clothed for once in her life, and covered in little bandages where the big, mean, nasty pirate lady had been cutting her, having pouted and pleaded to the captain's underlings to lick her wounds and close them up for her. A girl stood on each side of her, helping prop her up as she tried to ignore the small, dull hangover ringing in her temples. Today was too nice of a day to want to wallow in pain or pity. She kissed each girl on the cheek and stretched, waving hello to everyone.
“Oh, a shame, I thought you were going to do your whole ridiculous journey in yer skivvies, knight.” Susan laughed, peering from under her cap and yawning in return. “After all, if yer dumb enough to have a duel with only your skin and your bra as armor, I would think you stupid enough to complete your journey in nothing more. Perhaps even less!”
Siofra just rolled her eyes and popped her neck, bobbing her head around a bit. “Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm a bit more pragmatic than that. You just happened to catch me after a long day. And night. And day before that. It won't happen again, and thank goodness, I don't like stinging from cuts in places where the sun ought not to shine.”
“Er, speaking of dress, can you come with me, Siofra?” Millia hesitated to speak, spitting it out as fast as she could and taking Siofra's hand. She leaned in to whisper in her ear. “The moon's filling tonight. I'm afraid I'm going to have to, er, add that to your outfit today.”
Without another word, Siofra just nodded and followed Millia downstairs. Everyone from the Grail stared at them, wondering if those two were sleeping together or married or something, curious why she had to take her down privately to talk about clothing oneself. Gabby made sure to keep them away fro the cabin, throwing her weight around as substitute captain, having Lanzo back her up if needed. They knew what was going on and knew it was important to get it in control now. Their faces alone kept them backed off, Lanzo's fangs more so than Gabby's smug little cat face, but they didn't dare say anything to insult her by speaking of how nonthreatening she was.
After a bit of fumbling, the two came back out, Siofra with a thick red leather collar around her neck with a bone shaped name tag, connected to a leash being held tight by Millia. The knight saw nothing wrong with this and just waved again, acting as if everything was normal. “When do we arrive in Gryan? I'm starving and want pub food for lunch! None of this hardtack stuff. I need meat and potatoes and beer.” Her head throbbed a bit at the mention of booze. “Okay, maybe whatever the local kid-friendly special is. I should rid me of this headache before nightfall anyways.” she sighed, scratching herself around her neck and wrists a bit, as if she was irritated by her clothing.
Everyone just glared. It took Susan's gall once more to clear the silence. “Er, we'll be there shortly, knight, but care to explain to the rest of us what you're doing bringing your kinky bondage games on deck in front of us?” she pointed at Siofra's leash, looking rather perturbed.
“What? Nobody's spanking anyone in public, geeze.” Siofra groaned, rubbing her face and scratching more. She always loathed this time of the month, the hairs coming in were so itchy and bothersome. “I just got my arse bit by a gang of lovely werewolf lassies once some months before I hired Millia here as my squire and she's kindly volunteered to watch me when it happens since. If you're jealous or something you all can take turns taking me for walks or something. I'll be fine by the morning sunrise anyways.”
“Okay, whatever you say, bitch.” Susan said, going back to sleep, tilting her head back down. “Wake me when we land. Or the doggy's gone and made a mess of herself. That I want to see.”
The rest of the trip was as uneventful as it could get with the girls taking turns tugging on Siofra's leash, trying to get her to react and only being met with smiles or pats on the head. There was no other way to treat this situation but as normal, and she couldn't lie, the attention was nice to have. Perhaps that was just her canine sensibilities settling in, but pretty girls talking her for walksies wasn't all that bad, nor did she feel reason to be humiliated. Soon, they found port and docked, Siofra's transformation progressing to patches of fur the same red color of her hair lining her arms and legs.
They made their way to the Overflowing Grail to get lunch, Susan charming her way around the manager to get them a free meal in a display of unashamed flirtatiousness almost on par with Siofra's own morals. The knight was having trouble focusing on the menu, her stomach growling as claws formed, her mouth drooling as she smelled the kitchen cooking. Millia, having taken command of the leash again, ordered for her as her boss' senses waned and her attention ran short. She began to scratch at her ears, feeling them fuzz up, eager to eat and looking at everyone with feral eyes.
“I'm hungry, rrr.” She managed to say, still able to talk at limited capacity.
“Oh? Is the bitch hungry? Here, chew on this then!” Susan smiled, handing her the bone off a piece of meat she had just got done eating.
Siofra's eyes lit up and she took it in her mouth, chewing on it and slobbering a bit, happy as can be and not caring for all the world most of the tavern was now staring at her. That is, until her awareness kicked in and she spat it out, growling at Susan. “T-That ain't funny, Captain Slutsan!”
“Oh, real original. Like I hadn't heard that one before. Besides, you're one to talk, Siof-whore-a. Doggy want another bone?” Susan taunted.
The two crews had to keep their own captains away from each other, cringing in embarassment as they apologized profusely to each other. Siofra just barked a few times and wolfed down her meal easily. They all left the second they were done, ashamed to show their faces there anymore, taking the knight outside where she sat down and promptly tried to scratch her ears with her foot.
Susan just lead them to her manor and past a statue of the first Susan, which had looked the same for the past thousand years or so, since flight became more and more common and eventually evolving into the ships they used now. Gryan had been a port town for water ships long before it but was now proud to sport one of the best air docks around. They all talked about the history of the place, how the first Susan was more of a trader than a fighter, but had been in an incident with a troubled succubus that lead to her getting an iron hand, a tradition for injured workers to get in town since. Being a trade town, hard labor and scummy deals that went awry were common, and many people wound up injured and in need of such replacements, some even doing it on purpose so they could honor their ancestral mayor. It ended with her saying they could use her manor for the night, as it was custom to offer travelers she enjoyed the company of for any reason a nice warm bed as the first Susan was wont to do, for savory reasons or otherwise.
Before long, the sun was setting, them happily settling in and enjoying a soft, luxury bed for the first time in a while. However, Siofra was now sporting a long, bushy tail and her ears were hairy and pointed. She scratched and whimpered until Millia undressed her down to her chain loincloth, the knight's chest somewhat hairy and red, curling up on the bed next to her squire and yawning. “Thanks. So itchy. Not so much anymore.” said Siofra, wagging a bit and slurping Millia's face.
The squire got up and locked her door, letting Siofra scratch herself in peace as she looked around the manor, asking anyone if they wanted to take a turn watching the knight as she now felt pretty dirty and needed a bath thanks to how affectionate she was being. Susan grinned and tipped her cap up, putting a hand on Millia's shoulder and smiling as sweet as she could. “Hey there, I couldn't help but overhear you were having bitch problems. Want me to handle her while you go freshen up, maid? I won't harm her, I promise. She'd probably bite something off if I tried and I don't know if I'm ready for an iron hand yet. Go on, I know how to make good dogs heel.”
Millia was hesitant but Susan's tone was so friendly she couldn't help but nod and tell her which room she was in. “A-alright. Just have her back by dawn, or if you give her to someone else, have them have her back. She'll be fine then, just be careful.”
Susan pat Millia on the ass and sent her on her way. “Don't worry, cutie, I'll have your bitch boss groomed and happy and safe by dawn. You've my word as a captain and mayor. Now get going before all the hot water's used up.” She waved and watched her walk off, a sly grin spreading across her face as she unlocked the room Siofra was in.
The knight dog looked up and smiled, wagging her tail and barking a bit. “Ahh, elf captain! Hi! Siofra is itchy and lonely!” Her canine sense had overwhelmed her human ones, making her jump up and hump the captain's leg, slobbering her face and nuzzling.
“Whoa, easy now, bitch!” Susan grasped her leash right away and tugged at it. “Good doggy, why don't you heel and take that miserable little cloth off your crotch? If you're a doggy now, you got to have a bone, right? Let me take care of that for you and then set you on your way. Wolves should be proud and free, right? I want you to enjoy your night here with as many ladies as you can, but only if you show me a good time.”
Siofra heeled as she was told to, eager to get to play mounting games with such a cute owner, drooling on herself the whole time, intent on showing the captain the meaning of the phrase untamed. She was walked to the captain's personal chambers, fully naked for all to see on display. After a while, Susan lay tired and sweaty and content next to her, unlatching her leash from her collar and tapping her nametag, leading her to a door outside.
“Go on, doggy. Go play and mate. The town is yours. I'll be back at sunrise to leash you again, so go have fun.” the captain pat Siofra on her fuzzy ass and urged her out. The knight's eyes lit up as she ran outside, sniffing the air and wagging as she tracked down nearby maidens to endear herself to for play and pets.
Gryan had no idea what hit it. When dawn rose, the town looked like a quake had hit it, with Susan in but a flimsy robe standing outside and wagging the leash around going “Here, doggy doggy!” When Millia woke up and found her flaunting how irresponsible she had been with Siofra, all the captain could do was shrug and laugh at her anger, absolving herself of responsibility. The knight was found in a nearby garden, passed out and snoring hard, naked as could be and reverted to normal once more, not a single hair or flea in sight.
After all, what could they do to get her in trouble. She was the mayor and was all too proud to give her people the pleasures they deserved.
